The awe-inspiring astronomical features of ancient structures such as the Great Pyramids of Giza, Chichen Itza, and Stonehenge have often led to speculative theories involving extraterrestrial beings. Proponents of the ancient alien hypothesis argue that these remarkable celestial alignments and functions surpass the capabilities of ancient civilizations. However, a closer examination reveals that these structures’ advanced astronomical understanding can be attributed to human ingenuity and observational prowess. 

Space pollution, often referred to as space debris or space junk, represents a significant and escalating issue for both current and future space operations. Though outer space is unbelievably large, it cannot be treated as a landfill. It is important to learn why space pollution is a pressing concern, highlight its impacts on space missions, examine its implications for space exploration, and research the potential risks it poses to our planet’s orbital environment.

Humans must explore space. We have already achieved amazing breakthroughs from landing on the moon to understanding gravity, yet so much of the universe is undiscovered. There is potential for much more. While many think we should decrease spending on space exploration and focus on the problems of Earth, stopping space exploration would limit us from improving our planet. Studying space leads to better research methods, improved protection from mass extinction events, and life-changing inventions.
